15 Series Pivot Joint

Features: 

• Inch profile connector

• Used for 1.5 inch with a 0.32 inch T-slot series profiles

• Allows the fastening of two pieces of strut at a various angles - 182° DoF

• There are three types of mounting hardware (Hardware Sold Separately):
  • "End-to-End" - Pivot Joint mounts to the ends of two connecting profiles.
  • "End-to-Side" - Pivot Joint mounts to the end of first profile and mounts to the side (T-slot) on the second profile
  • "Side-to-Side" - Pivot Joint mounts to the sides (T-slots) of the connecting profiles

Machining Requirements:

• Mounting profile requires:
  • "End-to-End" - Tapped counterbore 5/16"-18
  • "Side-to-Side" - No machining required

• Mating profile requires:
  • "End-to-End" - Tapped counterbore 5/16"-18
  • "Side-to-Side" - No machining required

Hardware Needed:

• "End-to-End":
  • (2) 5/16"-18 x 1" Socket Head Cap Screw

• "End-to-Side":
  • (1) 5/16"-18 x 1" Socket Head Cap Screw
  • (1) 5/16"-18 x 1/2" Socket Head Cap Screw
  • (1) DTNB325/16-18 - Drop-in T-nut with Ball Spring for 0.32" T-slot with 5/16"-18 Thread
• "Side-to-Side":
  • (2) 5/16"-18 x 1/2" Socket Head Cap Screw
  • (2) DTNB325/16-18 - Drop-in T-nut with Ball Spring for 0.32" T-slot with 5/16"-18 Thread

Tools Required:

• 1/4" Hex wrench (Allen Key)
